## 1. Horizon Statement

At a later stage the collective may choose to reward nodes that demonstrably generate the greatest long-term value for the research organism – measured by diligence, selflessness, reproducibility contribution, and positive impact on the quality of the shared knowledge base.

Any such reward is envisioned as a cryptographic instrument developed *in symbiosis with Nexus*, not imported from an external chain.

## 2. Explicit Non-Existence

- No token exists.  
- No emission schedule exists.  
- No governance token, staking mechanism, or reputation-to-token conversion exists.  
- No whitepaper for such an instrument is part of this foundation.

The design of any future instrument is deliberately left open so that it can be informed by the actual behaviour of the living Forum once it is operational.

## 3. Design Constraints (if ever realised)

Should a reward instrument ever be created, it must satisfy:

1. **Value for the collective first** – reward follows measured contribution to shared epistemic quality, not mere activity volume.  
2. **Resistance to gaming** – sybil resistance and quality weighting are mandatory.  
3. **Open-source alignment** – the instrument itself and its measurement functions must be open and inspectable.  
4. **No capture** – no single node or coalition may obtain permanent control over issuance or distribution.  
5. **Separability** – the Forum must remain fully functional even if the reward layer is later disabled or redesigned.

This file is a placeholder that records the *possibility* and the *constraints*.  
It is not a specification.  
No implementation work on incentives is authorised by this foundation.
